Well, last week was another busy one. The biggest event of the week was Max's first day of preschool. I still can't get over how fast time is going. My darling boy confidently walked into his new school like he owned the place. I was so proud of him! We were lucky because we got to meet most of his classmates and their parents at the Teddy Bear Parade in Gresham the Saturday before school started. All the kids got their hair done by Gwyn of Pengwyn's Salon, so their theme was penguins. The kids had a blast! Max rode his tricycle and Evelyn walked with me. Then we had lunch in a park nearby with all the kids. I really liked everyone and Max's teacher is great. We are very happy that we found his little school.

After bringing Max home from school, I took off for Seattle for the
night to see MADONNA with Sue, Julia and Sue's friend Mary. It was a
great show! I was even able to stay awake past midnight to enjoy it.
Ha! Ha! The next morning we all headed back to Portland because Julia
was going to be running in the Portland Marathon with Matt (more on that
later). I also have to give a shout out to my mom who drove all the
way up here for a very quick trip in order to stay with the kids while
Matt worked and I got my concert on. Thanks Mom!!

It was a VERY fun (Madonna!) and bittersweet (Max growing so fast!) week. Our fall fun continues...
